THE UNKNOWN HONEY BUZZARD

Many people have seen the honey buzzard wheeling in the sky in spring or late summer – and most have assumed it was a buzzard. Although it is common, the honey buzzard is often confused with other species. After watching this programme in which you get to know the bird, recognition will become easier.

The programme will give some insights into the secret life of the honey buzzard. Making the documentary took four years, and it was filmed in its nesting areas in Finland, and on its migration journey via Israel and Spain, as well as in its wintering grounds in Africa.
